Our Story
IAMVIC is a Montreal based management fund founded in 2000 by Pierre Bernard. Recently joined by both his sons, IAMVIC has been actively investing for over 20 years. Pierre Bernard’s entrepreneurial instinct has been at the root of the company’s culture. Entering important restructuring deals, initiating start-ups, and steering a company through the financial crash of 2008, our team has knowledge about the art of management and the inner workings of companies. Also, Pierre served on several North American boards of industry-related entities including the Société Générale du Financement (SGF is now part of Investissement Québec) and the Association of Equipment Distributor (AED).
Since the arrival of his sons, Pierre has been able to transfer much of his wisdom. In exchange, his sons have been able to bring new insights on the ever-evolving topics of technology, agri-foods, green energy, and others. It is by combining experience, youth, and continuous curiosity that this team has been able to present itself as complete, dynamic, and innovative.
Continuously learning, our team has ventured into various fields and studied many projects. We want to understand each market’s challenges, environment, and the attributes needed for a team to succeed as to best guide our partners.
